Vote for Scottsdale’s all-time All Star spring training team

In conjunction with our free exhibit at the Scottsdale Civic Center Library, we’re teaming with the City of Scottsdale on a public vote to select an all-time Scottsdale spring training team.

Five Major League teams have called Scottsdale Stadium home – the Baltimore Orioles, the Boston Red Sox, the Chicago Cubs, the Oakland Athletics and the San Francisco Giants.

Who has earned the right to be an all-time Scottsdale All Star? Help us choose. Select your team from the nominations below. We’ll reveal the winners during the last week of spring training.

Who should make the cut? Those who had Hall of Fame careers?  Those who had a significant impact while training in Scottsdale? Those who stood out for a remarkable year or accomplishment?

We hope the list below captures a little bit of all those criteria. Like everything else in baseball, there will be room for debate.
